When Kay Sandberg took that first flight to Asia at 16, little
did she know this would become a way of life. 30+ years later
Kay continues to be fascinated by the impact of cultural and style
differences on getting good work done. Her consulting and training
practice, and her personal life have revolved around closing gaps
in mutual understanding.
Kay's background includes extensive work in consulting,
coaching, facilitating, and training individuals, teams, and organizations
on a diverse range of development topics. After managing a project
in a university setting, she worked in a consulting firm for many
years before hanging out her own shingle. Kay's current passions
focus on enabling people to work smarter together--to be more
flexible, humane, and able to thrive in our fast-changing marketplace.
Favorite training methodologies are experiential and practical--
in service of making work relationships more collaborative. She
facilitates a personal mastery course in beautiful international
settings.
Current clients include Agilent Technologies,
Hewlett-Packard Company, Hitachi, Lucent Technologies, Motorola,
National Semiconductor, Raychem/Tyco, Silicon Graphics, SGS Thomsen,
Space Systems/Loral, Sun Microsystems, and Toshiba.
When not on an airplane she enjoys participating
in the lives of her two teenagers, deep water running (and anything
else in water, especially hot springs resorts), and walking Molly
the Canine Coach. She's an ardent explorer of personal mastery/transformation
tools and exciting external terrains. One life goal: to be totally
comfortable and connected anywhere on the planet.
