Dave Ancel, Ed.D., is a Syntax consultant and principal of Concepts
in Global Learning. His company provides knowledge and experience
in design and implementation to global organization development
initiatives for hi-tech clients. He has a strong background in
the relationship of technology and culture in the global workplace.
He has lived and worked in Latin America and Southeast Asia, and
is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Ancel's experience in organization development,
intercultural communication, and appropriate uses of technology
combine to provide expertise in the following areas: The use of
communication technologies in global management and leadership,
and creating effective globally dispersed workgroups and project
teams. Recent clients include: National Semiconductor, Sun Microsystems,
and Novell.
Dr. Ancel holds a Masters Degree in International Administration
from the School for International Training, and a Doctorate in
Organization and Leadership, emphasis in Pacific Leadership International,
from the University of San Francisco (USF). He is currently an
adjunct faculty member at the USF College of Professional Studies.
He teaches Planned Change in Complex Organizations, and Current
Topics in Human Resource Development.
