Syntax
consists of five disciplines
that distinguish outstanding communicators and leaders.
As
you go through the week, use the natural workflow to focus on
one discipline each day.
You'll
be strengthening your communication and leadership skills.
You
will also be getting more of the right things done every day!
Five
Day Leadership Communication Learning Plan
Monday:
PLAN. Ask yourself and others: What
do we want? What will that get us? How will we know when we get
there?
Tuesday:
LINK. What are the crucial relationships
for your immediate and long-term success? Today's a good day to
reach out, build rapport, and take care of the people on whom
you depend for results.
Wednesday:
BALANCE. What requests have you made
this week? What do you need to request? Have you responded to
the requests made of you? What do you need to follow up on today?
Take stock, and take action.
Thursday:
INFORM. This is the day to consider
who needs to know what, how you will send messages and gather
information for maximum accuracy and relevance to your priorities
for the week. Pay attention to giving and getting high quality
information that will help everyone get the job done well.
Friday:
LEARN. Reflect on the goals that
you set at the beginning of the week. How are we doing? What have
we learned? What can be celebrated, completed, confirmed? Make
notes today that will facilitate a smooth start to next week!
