Charles Feltman works with individuals and teams who wish to become
the best they can be at defining, refining and communicating their
visions, coordinating action and leading people. Specifically,
Charles provides coaching, consulting, facilitation and training
to organizations and those who lead them. He also coaches individuals
who are facing challenges in career, relationship, family, health,
and spiritual life. His intent in this work is that his clients
uncover their best, most capable selves, out of which can come
their most effective actions.
As president of Insight Communication, Charles
gets to be his own boss-a very demanding job, to be sure. Fortunately,
he has had lots of experience working with and learning from managers
in companies from Silicon Valley to East Coast, to Canada, and
beyond.
With over 25 years of professional experience
in coaching and mentoring, resolving conflict, teaching others
to effectively manage conflict, facilitating groups, and training,
Charles brings experience and a strong commitment to excellence
to his work. He started Insight Communication in 1992 after serving
in various management positions in high-tech equipment manufacturing
corporations. It was his vision that Insight Communication embody
and model the values of organic development, compassion, accountability
to the collective good, collaboration and shared leadership.
Charles earned a bachelor's degree in psychology
from U.C. Santa Cruz longer ago than he cares to think about,
and a master's in communication and technology management from
the University of Southern California. He has studied ontological
coaching with Julio Olalla and completed the Newfield Network
basic certification and graduate coaching programs. He is also
a certified NLP practitioner, certified mediator and conflict
resolution facilitator, certified Syntax consultant, certified
father and grandfather. Someday he aspires to be a poet. Charles
currently lives in and works out of San Luis Obispo, California.
